Fork & Walk offers a Private Frankfurt Food Tour, the Original Frankfurt Christmas Markets Tour and Discover Regional Frankfurt experiences with Jens. Regional trips can be planned for a full day or several days. We also welcome enquiries for corporate groups and team events. Dates and arrangements are agreed individually.
Is the Frankfurt food tour private?
Yes. The Frankfurt food tour is exclusively for your party, with your own guide. You explore with the people you choose, rather than joining a scheduled group of strangers. Tell us your group size and preferred date so we can check availability.
Who will guide our Frankfurt tour?
Jens is our Frankfurt guide. He brings years of experience leading cultural and historical tours across Hessen and connects local food with the stories of the places you visit. His availability is confirmed when we discuss your dates.
How long is the private Frankfurt food tour?
Allow around three hours for the private food tour. Tell us about any restaurant reservation, meeting or onward journey when you enquire so we can discuss whether the timing works. A different duration needs to be agreed in advance.
Which languages are available for the tour?
Tours with Jens are offered in English, German and French. Please specify your preferred guiding language when you enquire. A translated website does not mean that the tour itself is available in every website language.
Can we tailor the tour to our interests?
Share what you most enjoy: regional food, markets, history, local neighbourhoods or time for conversation. We can discuss the route and pace around your interests, subject to the experience, venue opening times and availability. Any specific request is confirmed before booking.
Is a private food tour suitable for a special occasion?
A private tour can be a lovely way to spend time together for a birthday, anniversary or reunion. Tell us about the occasion and any ideas you have when you enquire. Extras or special arrangements need to be discussed and confirmed; they are not automatically included.

Which areas does the Frankfurt food tour explore?
Our Frankfurt food experience introduces the Old Town, the Kleinmarkthalle and the city’s connection with Sachsenhausen. The route links local flavours with Frankfurt’s history and everyday life. Specific stops depend on opening times and the plan agreed for your visit.
What food and drink are included?
The experience focuses on Frankfurt’s markets and regional specialities. We confirm the actual tastings, drinks and any other inclusions in your personal offer. If a particular dish, drink or venue matters to you, mention it before booking so we can check what is possible.
Are there vegetarian options?
Yes, the food tour offers vegetarian options as well as options with meat. Tell us how many guests are vegetarian when you enquire so we can confirm suitable arrangements for your group.
Can you accommodate vegan diets, allergies or intolerances?
Please describe each guest’s requirements before booking. We will check what the participating venues can offer and confirm whether the tour is suitable. Vegan, gluten-free and allergy-related requests need individual confirmation; we cannot promise an allergen-free environment.
How much walking is involved?
This is a walking experience with food stops along the way. The distance and time spent standing depend on the final route. Tell us if anyone needs a slower pace, regular seats or shorter walking stretches, and we will discuss feasibility before you book.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible or suitable for reduced mobility?
Please contact us before booking with the practical access requirements for your party. We need to check the route, surfaces, entrances, seating and facilities at the planned stops. We will confirm what is possible for the specific experience rather than assume that every route or venue is accessible.
Where do we meet, and can the tour start at our hotel?
We confirm the meeting point when arranging your tour. If you would prefer to meet at your hotel, send us its name and address so we can assess the location and timing. Hotel pickup or transport is not included unless it is specifically agreed in your offer.
Can children join, and what should we bring?
Let us know the children’s ages and any food preferences so we can discuss a suitable plan. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring clothing appropriate to the weather. For pushchairs, seating needs or a particularly short attention span, ask us about the route before booking.

Do you organise corporate food tours and team events in Frankfurt?
Yes. We welcome enquiries for company outings, team gatherings, client entertainment and experiences for conference guests. Share your date, group size and the purpose of the event, and we will discuss a food-focused Frankfurt experience suited to your group.
Can a tour fit around a conference or business meeting?
Tell us your venue, available time window and any fixed start or finish time. We will assess a workable plan around your programme. An after-work start, specific meeting point or shortened experience needs confirmation based on Jens’s availability and the venues involved.
What group sizes can you accommodate?
Please send your expected number of guests. Capacity depends on the tour format, guide availability and suitable venues, so we confirm it individually. For larger groups, contact us early; we will discuss what is feasible before you make plans around the event.
Can you plan for mixed dietary preferences in a team?
Include the number of vegetarian guests and details of other dietary requirements in your enquiry. We will check the options for the proposed experience before confirming it. Let us know about changes to the guest list as early as possible.
What information should we send for a corporate quote?
Please include your company name, preferred date, approximate headcount, available time window, meeting or hotel location, dietary requirements and any budget guidance. Tell us if you need particular invoicing details or other arrangements so these can be agreed as part of the offer.

What is the Original Frankfurt Christmas Markets Tour?
It is a seasonal experience exploring Frankfurt’s Christmas markets with Jens, with the city’s festive atmosphere and local stories at its heart. Ask us about your preferred date and group. We confirm the route, duration, guiding arrangements and inclusions in your offer.
When is Frankfurt’s Christmas market open in 2026?
The city’s tourism board lists the main Frankfurt Christmas Market for 23 November–22 December 2026. Those are the public market dates, not a promise of tour availability on every day. Check the official Christmas market information before travelling, and contact us separately to arrange your tour.
Can we arrange a Christmas market visit for our company?
Yes, you can enquire about a festive outing for colleagues, clients or a conference group. Include your preferred date, headcount and timing. We will confirm whether a suitable experience is available and what it includes.
What is Discover Regional Frankfurt?
Discover Regional Frankfurt takes you beyond the city with Jens to explore interests such as vineyards, medieval castles and historic spa towns. It can be planned as a full-day or multi-day experience. Destinations and the balance between driving, walking and visits are agreed individually.
Can we choose a vineyard, castle or spa town to visit?
Tell us which places or experiences appeal to you. We will discuss whether they fit your dates, available time and preferred pace. A winery tasting, castle interior visit or spa treatment requires its own availability and should not be assumed to be included.
Is Eltz Castle in Frankfurt, and is it included in your regional tour?
Eltz Castle is near Wierschem in Rhineland-Palatinate, outside Frankfurt. Its image illustrates the possibilities of a wider regional trip; a visit is not a standard inclusion. If it is on your wish list, ask us to assess the travel time, opening arrangements and suitability for your itinerary. See the official Eltz Castle website.
Are transport, accommodation and entrance tickets included in regional trips?
These depend on the itinerary and your individual offer. Before booking, we confirm which transport, visits, tastings, meals and any accommodation arrangements form part of the agreed plan. Let us know if you need a particular vehicle, hotel standard or access arrangement.

How much does a private Frankfurt tour cost?
We provide a personal quote after discussing your experience, date, group size and any special arrangements. There is no single price shown here because the plans vary. The price and inclusions are confirmed before you book.
How do we enquire about a tour?
Send your preferred experience, dates, number of guests and any dietary or access requirements. For a regional trip, include whether you have one day or several. For a corporate event, include your company name and timing. You can use the enquiry form on our tour page or email info@forkandwalktoursberlin.com.
Does sending an enquiry confirm our booking?
No. An enquiry starts the conversation. We first check availability and agree the details, price and booking arrangements with you. Please wait for explicit booking confirmation before treating the tour as reserved.
How far ahead should we enquire?
Enquire once you know your likely dates, particularly for Christmas visits, corporate groups and multi-day plans. Jens’s availability and venue arrangements are checked individually. You can also ask about a short-notice visit, but availability cannot be guaranteed.
What if we need to change or cancel, or the weather is poor?
The cancellation and change conditions are those supplied with your booking. Ask us to clarify them before you confirm, including how weather-related changes are handled. If your plans or the forecast cause concern, contact us promptly so we can discuss the options for your particular tour.
